2008 SO CAL SECTIONALS JUNE 14-16 and 19-23

Can anyone tell me if you need to quallify or something to get into this event?
I'm very confused because my coach said i need to qualify or something.
Any information on this tournament is appreciated. =]

they hold out the top 16 until 2nd weekend. everybody else plays the qualifying which is really really big. then top 16 in qualifying make it to main draw

yes ,,, you have to be one of the 'top guns'( top 16 seeds ) and you'll get a free ride into the weekend play or second week of play... they try to make it like a qualifying round so you don't meet a good player and get killed so fast...

no they have 16 qualifiers into the pre-selected 16 making it a 32 draw.. then the 32 players play a back draw for losers... so if you are those lucky or good enough to be in the 32 round ,you get your $$$ worth...
