I have my high school league tournament tomorrow and im extremely nervous. I am seeded 3rd overall out of 22.
Does anyone get nervous before a big tournament even though they are seeded? How do you calm down from it?

Nerves are natural and good. It means you care about the outcome and are human. Even Federer and Nadal get nervous before matches and they are the best players in the world. Remember that your opponent is just as, or more, nervous than you.
Focus on the simple things... the ball during warmup and play, each individual point, don't think about the future or the match outcome. Give yourself a good warmup and you'll probably find that your nerves have pretty much gone away. Remain positive with yourself.

dude just relax. you're third seed. if you're really high level you shouldn't have to worry about anyone except first and second seed.

nerves. yeah. i remember my 3rd tournament, i tried to go to sleep early at around 9 ,instead got to sleep around 2 in the morning. ugh.
nerves are just part of the game, it means that this tournament actually means something to you. If it didnt, you wouldnt be there, or you wouldnt even care about it.
I always hated being seeded higher because that meant more pressure. All I would do (if i were you) is think that i was better than my opponent. You're seeded number 3 for a reason, and your opponent isnt. Lets see who's better! I wouldnt be cocky about it, but i would definately go in the match with a winning mindset.
Good luck! Can we get results from the tourney?

Well I just finished playing yesterday, and now I'm in the semis.
I'm squared off against the 2nd seed, who I haven't beaten before. So taking that into consideration, I've done better this year when I was the underdog than the favorite.

well how were the matches you've played with him before? were they really one-sided, competitive, or very close? you go into this match with nothing to lose. take it too him and put the pressure on him early in the match and give him something to worry about.
