is it me, or does the pure drive have an extremely 'hollow' feeling to it? or would it be my string set up being PSGD 56lb.

When i mean hollow i mean the total opposite of what the k90 feels like

you nailed it.

You could also say it feels 'tinny' like a thin piece of metal that vibrates way too much.

Well, for one thing, it is actually hollow.

try a vibration dampener.
it gets rid of the hollow feel for the most part
but it still doesn't give you that "feel" of a thin beamed
players stick.
it is all about power and spin w/ the newer racquets that
almost beg to be paired with poly strings.

So is the K90 and all other graphite composites. But the PD is more so due to beam shape.

Maybe because it is a thin piece of metal that vibrates way to much?

I personally don't mind that feeling. the racquet doesn't trouble my joints and i enjoy the power it gives....although i just got a MW200g for fun and that has been working extremely well too...totally different feeling

Very true. Even completely solid feeling frames, if you were to cut them apart would not be solid all the way through. They'd weigh 2 pounds if they were, LOL.
