All of you have always been so helpful. Currently using Roddick Pure Drive Standard strung at 55 with Technofibre nsg 17. 54 year old male USTA team player of line two doubles. Serve and volley. Serve is at best average but good first volley deep. Weapons are forehand and return of serve. 5" 11" and weight is 205 lbs. Some elbow problems on the inside (golfers elbow) .

I like the RPD but it is soooooo stiff it is killing my arm. Addicted to the power and the feel. LIke the beam width. Like the weight. Soooooooo

The APDC is not as stiff and more comfortable compared to the PDR. The APDC plus is my primary racquet along with the K90.

That was my feeling when I hit with it but it seems tooo light. Do you feel it has more power than the RPD. I know when Chris at TW reviewed it he thought it as less powerful but when I hit it I was havng trouble keeping the ball in the court. 6" long...................6" long.

Have you tried the regular PD? It's RA is a bit lower and you could lead it back up to get back to the static/swing weight of the PDR.

The feel won't be exact, but may be nice. The 2 frames you suggest are very different from the PDR.

I think you'll find the APDC easier on the arm and easier to control. The PDR is nice but its hard to control- I used it for almost 2 years and really struggled w/ my control then I found the APDC a great option.
