Maybe this is a dumb question but how can you spot a counterfeit tennis racquets? I like buying racquets made from the 80's and 90's so I usually only get them used. I heard that there are fake Prestige Classics being sold on ****. Is this true? What other racquets from the 80's and 90's are also being counterfeited?

Who the hell is sleazy enough to make a fake racquet and then sell them on **** just to make a couple of bucks? Who the hell who go through all that trouble just to make a fake racquet? I am guessing it is a difficult process to copy a racquet, but maybe I am wrong. Can someone shed some light on this topic?

Look out for the throat shape, also a real obvious one is when the frame you want isn't supposed to be shiney, but the seller has a picture where it seems like it is...

No single way to judge them all, just have to compare them to the real thing.

Buy from a reputable seller.

Check seller's feedback and history for any hint of customer dissatisfaction.

Always be wary when buying a brand new racquet that's no longer in production.

Ask seller for additional pics.
