Well my tennis season is over for the year. It wasn't much of a bad season for my school but there were a few misses. Unfortunately I was stuck in JVs when I should've been in Varsity, some other guy who didn't really know what he was doing got placed in varsity instead. I would just like to know if there are any effective ways to improve my overall quality game by myself. Opinions and advice are welcome ^^.

I'd imagine that it'd be good to just... keep playing with whoever you can. That's what I've been doing, and I feel like it's helped me out.

Ball machines are great for grooving strokes, as well as finding solid adults to rally with.

Great suggestion here to hit with adults. I encourage my team to hit with adults because they usually force the younger players to hit more balls.

What exactly does that (bolded part) mean?? Coaches showing favoritism?

Get some good tennis books like Tennis Mastery, watch a lot of pro tennis matches, live if you can, watch some college tennis matches, check out fuzzy yellow balls, a couple of private lessons maybe...

A lot of things you can do...
