Nadal losing less than 6 games per match in the FO

Nadal lost a total of 41 games in the entire French Open 2008, so his average was better than 6 games per match. Is this the all time record? Does anybody know?

I think Borg did better than that at the french one year when he lost like 1 game in the semis and 3 in the final or something like that.

Also, in the womans game (I know it's only best of 3) check Steffi Graf during the French in 1988:

I think Lendl may have been the closest to do that. His 1985 US Open win over McEnroe was his 12th, and at that point Lendl became number 1, but I am not sure if all 11 previous wins had taken place while Mac was number one.

I just counted them. Agassi only beat Sampras 6 times WHILE sampras was #1.

98 - 2 times
95 - 3 times
94 - 1 time


How many times did agassi beat Sampras while Sampras was #1? It could have been close to 11.
