Which string has the "Crispest" feeling in your opinion?

There's a lot.

Poly - Blue Gear, Cyberflash, CyberPower
Synthetic gut - Gosen OG Sheep
Multi - X-One Biphase
Gut - It's all soft.

Pro Supex Big Ace. One of the crispiest polys I've ever hit with.

Possibly controversially I'm going to say PSGD syn gut, it has a fairly unique feel about it. X-1 is good also but not quite as "crunchy" on impact

Most "crisp" polys I find to simply be hard and stiff rather than crisp

luxilon big banger ace. which pro supex big ace felt crisp? I've tried 1.28, 1.25, & 1.15 @ 60 & 61 lbs but i feel they have a cushioned, almost spongy feel - like the ball is cupped a lil. I know not everyone feels the ball the same though. Just my experience. Big Banger feels firm & crisp to me though.

I agree w/ PSGD. I used the 17g for years and dwell time seemed very short with these strings.

yeah, PSGD is extremely crisp when fresh

Another vote for the OG Sheep synthetic gut.

I just got sick of them...mostly the power and flexy feel (too flexy). Also my volleys got worse over time using them. I always seem to go back to a wilson 90...the longest I have ever used a frame was the N90 for nearly 2 years...then the K for a while. I just feel comfortable with them...never felt fully that way with the fischers and the grip shapes.

Fairplay, i did use some PS Tour 90's for a while but they were too demanding compared to my old i.Presty MP's. Having said that when you catch the ball just right it felt awesome...problem was hitting the ball sweet each time, plus they were a lot harder to wield over 3 sets.

Agreed. The first hour or 2 with PSGD is great - it loses a lot of tension after that, but the first 2 hours, it can hang with a lot more expensive strings.

PSGD is crisp, but moves around too much for my liking. (I'm going back to poly hybrids.)

CF is more hard than crisp, IMO.

I thought X-1 was supposed to be soft? (Can a string be crisp and soft at the same time?)

It loses tension much too quickly for me, but I'm thinking I may have to venture back to it (coming back from gut/poly hybrids) because of the feel.

I found PSGD lost tension a lot also after about 3-4hrs for me so what I did is step down a gauge to 17g from the 16g, better feel and essentially I tended to break it before it became a problem, not really a solution I know but I got the better feel and I would have cut the 16 out anyway...
