Adidas Barricade II. Adidas has yet to make a better hardcourt shoe IMO.

The problem is, usually the most durable shoes are not the most comfortable shoes and the most comfortable shoes are not the most durable shoes. You can't really have both because to make the shoes more durable they have to make the shoes out of stiffer materials, like the soles. More comfortable shoes are made from softer materials but then they don't last as long.

Umm how are the babolat pupulse compared to the barricade VI

I 2nd the vote for Barricade 2. For a durable shoe they are very comfortable out the box. The comfort lasts until the soles are completely worn out as well. Outsole durability on the B2 is outstanding as well.

The Barricade II is probably the best tennis shoe ever made.

The only drawback is that there arent enough colorways. Something like black and silver should be available. They last long and youll probably get bored of them before they are completly worn through.

The barricade IIs are a great shoe. The problem is that their cushioning breaks down relatively quick compared to the outsole.

Outsole compounds have improved way faster than midsole technologies over the last 10 years. Insoles can help, but you're almost better off getting a cheaper shoe and rotating through pairs more quickly nowadays.

I love my new Barricade IIs. Can't say anything about outsole or insole durability yet, but they are really comfortable (at least now) and should last me a long time.

Another vote for those.

Different shoe brands tend to run more narrow or wide than others. But for general comfort I like my ASICS. It's almost like you're not wearing a shoe at all. Average durability.

I'm not a toe dragger so a pair of Nike Breathe Free 2's will last me at least 6-8 months.

Babolat Propulse shoes are awesome! They are lighter and more comfy than the Baricade 4 or 5's, yet more durable.
In the Barricade you really feel "barricaded" in your shoe, like a bit stuck. With the Propulse, which has much more flexible materials on the upper like mesh, you feel just fine (not too tight nore too loose).
That's my advice.

I vote for the Barricade II. I toe drag to a ridiculous extent, and I've played probably about 10 hours without going through the toe on my right foot. This is about as good as it gets for me. there's a lot of scuffing, but the toe seems really strong thus far.

By contrast, I grabbed a cheap pair of CC Booms at the start of the season (since I couldn't get my size in the B IIs and I really needed some shoes). It took between three and four hours to get through the toe on my right foot. I mean all the way through it, to the point that I started sacrificing socks when I played.

The Barricade II is also pretty comfortable. It's not quite like wearing a slipper, but there's a pretty large amount of cushioning.
