Blue Aerogel.

I thought he was a Wilson boy for the longest time.

thanks for the thread, i noticed it as well. Brand new Dunlop Aerogel 100 or 200. It looks like it is 100 to me. It is definitely not his old wilson that is painted over like some will say,,,no doubt. He seem to be playing better than ever with it so must be game improving racket.....hahhha

ALL racquets are "game improvement" racquets. Nobody purposely switches to a racquet to try and make their game worse.

You are joking I assume :-)

Game improvement racquet is a polite term for a beginner racquet. Sort of like "senior citizens" instead of "oldies."

I am looking at Levine take court and it definitely looks like AERogel 100. Of course, i expect it to be much heavier than Stock. and probably less head light as well. i wonder if it really is Aerogel material ???? Some pros just hate the Aerogel for some reason and will NOT use it.

Then please explain how the AG100 can EVER be a "game improvement" racquet by your definition? Any racquet that improves ones game is a "game improvement" racquet.

You've obviously never seen an AG100 in person. Levine's Dunlop looks to be an AG200 from the Nadal match. Makes sense as he was using a K95 before this and a Babolat before that. I don't see someone like that moving to an AG100. He was probably using a K95 18x20 and wanted to stay with the same 95 sq. in. head and 18x20 pattern.

Strung a few of his frames today. Looks like an actual Aerogel 200 with no paintjob. Didn't get a chance to weigh his racquets but he uses ALU Power/VS Touch at 59/61 pounds.

nice to see Levine finally dump the pacific crap he was using before.

Even when he was with Wilson, he had such a weird modified racquet that nobody was able to figure out what it was (18x20 with only 6 holes in the throat).

Courts slow at Canada this week?

Must've been a recent change. Only two months ago he was with Wilson!

I agree with BP the headsize looks much bigger than 90, it's maybe even bigger than 95.

AG1000?

Did you read through the thread?

BigApple said that he strung some of Levine's rackets and says it looks like a non pj'd AG200.

To me it's a 200, the head is too big to be a 100

he must be falling in love with the new AG 200 cause he is playing Great with it. ONe example was how he was able to hit out on the ball without getting pushed around by Rafa's topspins. Actualy AG 200 has fairly good stock weight but pros ususally likes them heavier so maybe it is a custom racket straight from Dunlop. maye he is getting VIP treatment since he hit with Federer.:)

Interesting racquet change. But we'll see how he performs at the Open. Did he get a WC? Or was he a direct acceptant?
