I cant decide between the Semi western, extreme semi wester, and western grip. I play all three decently, and I cant decide which to use. Can anyone help me?

I'd say use all three. Just pick whichever one is the best for the situation and shot you want to hit.

close your eyes, spin your racquet, which ever grip it lands on, you stick with it.
aka, the most natural grip

I just replied to the other thread. If you can use all three, why not. I would try to make one of them my primary grip and go to the others as the situation dictates. I would also like to know what situations you use each grip in and what modifications you might make in your swing path and contact point for each grip? Also how does each grip affect the action you get on the ball? If it was me I would make the SW my primary grip and on balls that the contact point is up around my shoulders I might go to the other grips to help keep the racquet face closed and keep the hand/wrist in a strong position.

actually, I dont switch them for different situations. I use each single one as my main forehand grip on different days ( i switch grips every day). My western grip seems to clear the net the lowest.

So which one hits (consistently) the deepest in the court? That is the one you should go with.

Then you're not really getting the full benefits of the Western grip. It's strength is its high bouncing, heavy topspin shots and it allows the player to hit with a lot of net clearance and still keep the ball in play. I would go with the semi western because it offers plenty of spin and still allows for flat shots when needed.

Which grip are you most consistent with? Probably should go with that one unless your shots are easy to attack.
edit: oops, Tim already suggested this :)

okay thanks everyone, I decided on extreme semi western grip. It's my compensation of the two :].

thanks for all your help Tim. I hit most consistant with extreme SW. I use SW to hit flat shot winners down the line, and I use western grip for higher balls. As for swing path, I use basically the same swing for SW and extreme SW; swinging from low to above my shoulder. As for western grip, I usually bend my knees to get under the ball and I swing across to my shoulder ( almost like federer).
