I am sure you guys are sick of answering questions from me, but I have one more. I have been stringing my raquet's with lightning xx at 60lbs, and it feels very similar to when the pro stings them. I asked a different pro today if he could check the tension and with his gauge he said it was at 30lbs. Could this be true? Could the drop wieght be that much off? What does this tension tester actually test?

unless you are stringing your rackets totally wrong, which i doubt because at 30 lbs you can feel something is wrong when you press your fingers against the string bed and it goes all the way back.

So i re-strung a raquet and brought it back to him. This time I strung it at 65lbs. He said the tension was 45lbs when he measured it. I asked him what his gauge says when he strings a raquet at 60lbs, he siad 60. I hit with my raquet and within minutes it hurt my elbow. I am hoping my tension is right and 65lbs is way to hard.
