The new Nadal outfit is strange. Plus, I think it doesn't really look good on him. What are those white lines on a blue background? Angel wings???

Does any one know? Personal interpretations would also be appreciated.

Ha ha, I don't really believe it. But it is pretty close. However Nike would never make a T-shirt with a political logo on it. Too risky in business.

Aside from davis cup, federation cup, and olympic outfits, designs don't mean anything on anyone. I'm not talking about monograms like on Federer's stuff.

If they did mean something, what message do you think this was trying to send?

The stripes mean that the shirt will look really out of date in about 10 years. :-)

Yes, I've heard this story, too, from a very trusted source in Beaverton, Oregon. Turns out, that particular Nike executive had just eaten a Mentos.

Well, Nadal's shoe (Cage II) has the "Drag-On", so maybe they got the inspiration from the images of dragon when designing.
