What's heavier, Natural Gut, Syn Gut, Poly or Multi?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Given the same string gauge which type of string is heavier? Maybe list from heaviest to lightest?

For example is PSGD 16 heavier or lighter than Yonex Tour Super 850 Pro 16?

Thank you all.

there is not much difference in string weight, so I wouldn't account for it.

it depends on the specific string....that's like asking what's heavier: an indian, a caucasian, an asian, or an african?

Heaviest is natural gut then poly then syn gut and lastly multi

This is what I found when I weighed a few (got bored in a shop waiting for stringing :) ). That said I'm sure it depends on brands, gauges etc...from memory there was very little in it

Reason I asked was because after switching to poly/gut hybrid from full multi my racquet gained 4 grams of weight so I was wondering why? Now I know.:)

BTW weight of synthetic gut, is it closer to poly or multi?

Which poly/gut hybrid? What tensions? (Just curious.)
