I was at the local pro shop and I was comparing my pro tour 280 with the new kblade tour and I noticed the kblade had a slightly bigger head size. I know head measures from the outside of the frame and wilson measures from the inside but four square inches is pretty ridiculous. Does anybody have any information on why such differences between both companies exist?

The Kblade Tour should be smaller. It's supposed to be 93 sq. in. whereas the PT280 is actually 95 sq. in. (even though it's advertised as a 98 ).

I agree the kblade should be smaller but it isn't, as a matter of fact i demo'd the dunlop 200 which should be a 95 and the dunlop was significantly bigger, pretty weird

It's pertty weird that these specs cannot be standardized. After all tennis rules prohibit certain non-standard sizes from competition play, then how come the rules cannot also regulate the very basic spec we all rely on and assess...???
