$260 for ONE racquet. I was seriously considering buying one until I realized the prices are crazy and that the heaviest stick they offer is 11.4 Oz.

They are quite a lot, but it might be cheaper for you Americans in a few weeks:)

Also all the specs are unstrung weights

Welcome to "our" world...

130 / $260 for a racket is pretty much common place over here so it's not much more to pay when compared to say a Microgel Prestige or similar.

Every now and then they do half price deals though :o.

I'm biased, but they're well worth it....

$221 if paying in USD or 135 euros. I might save a few $$ and pay in Euros then before the dollar dips even more.

It would be against my religion (CPC member) to spend that much on a racquet, but I'm curious to see how the red racquet looks. The black looks cool.

the heaviest racquet is 11.7 oz unstrung which comes to 12.1 strung and about 12.4 with overgrip and dampener. when you consider the cost of most racquets today a custom racquet at their prices does not seem unreasonable. if you like the way the frame hits(i do) its worth it to me.

Damn! Honestly, these rackets are the only reason I keep coming back to this forum (see my last 5 or so posts). I've been waiting for the next price deal, and I figure this is the first place I'll hear about it.

I guess I'll just have to keep coming back...

The Vantage racquets are excellent racquets. I plan on ordering another one in February.

I have (2) 90 sq. in., 70 stiffness and strung with full gut.

With just an overgrip, dampener and 2 strips of HEAD head tape... the weight is 12.8 oz. (362 grams).

BTW, does vantage sell the nice sack/covers that are free with each racquet?

rawr (http://www.vantagetennis.com/cat/view/full-protection.html) ?

BTW How are the 70 RA Mids ? I've been considering that setup but most people seem to go for the 63..

How stiff are they ? (I'm hoping they're not like ncode stiff, but still stiffer than say my LM Pres.)

I found the LMpresMid quite flexy. I have 11.4oz 12PtHl. They are stiff but comfortable considering the stiffness. The racket seems to stay pretty straight during contact, the higher you hit in the stringbed the more likely to feel some kind of flex(think its somewhat due to the tapered beam). Like a DiabloMid stiffness but easier on the arm. Probably the most powerful mid I have used, haven't found the right strings to tame the power.

Mine are 100in heads, 27.5 long, 330g, 12 pts hl, 16x19 with full PHT. I've got 6, 3 black and 3 red.

Thanks for that info, yeah the LM is a little too flexy for my tastes..

Currently have the i.pres mid xl which is stiffer and plays sweetly but the swingweight is roughly similar and stilll a little high. Still have to try out my AG100 though.

They are excellent. They don't hurt my arm like the K90 or the older PS 6.1 Classic. This may be due to the full gut, though.

Yeah, thanks for the bag link. I'll order a couple extras in February.
