View Full Version : Any K-Swiss fans out there?

I'm a diehard K-swiss guy and have been buying the ascendor slt's for a couple of years now. They just fit my feet well and last for a long time.
My one negative on them would be that the toes scuff up quickly and get pretty ugly and that they're somewhat heavy. The sole durability is excellent in my experience.
Can anyone suggest a different k-swiss model I should try?

I love my Staiblors and they have a crap load of protection for toe draggers

I use the Defiers and that is a comfortable shoe (editor's choice for 2003 according to t e n n i s mag). I still have mine and they have lasted for a little more than a year.

I'm on my 4th pair of Defiers. You can't kill 'em. Tennis, work on concrete, and yardwork. Love the all leather uppers.

I just checked the new k-swiss website. Did you know k-swiss does running shoes? Awesome. Anyway...they have a new ascedor on there that is promoted as their lightest tennis shoe:
"The Ascendor SLT redefines high performance, lightweight tennis footwear. The unique DuraFlow upper combined with lightweight EVA and TPU Cushion Board provide the optimal balance between lightweight and stability. The DuraWrap LT high-abrasion toe guard and DragGuard create a durable barrier between the court and the foot. These innovative materials and technologies work together to maximize tennis players' speed and agility."

Hey, man... I have both of the Ascendor SLT's in your pics. The white ones attract dirt and the mesh does not clean up easily. The blue ones are just so*sweet* looking. I've moved on the Barricade V's and SHT 306's for the court most of the time, but give me a pair of thin socks and SLT's and I am a happy camper. Comfy kicks.
