I am so nervous, I play my first USTA designated tournament, I play the number 3 seed in boys 16s!! I don't even know how I got in when the top 500 players in Florida are playing.. I'm nervous and about to pee my pants like seriously lol. In Florida guys are turning pro rapidly and I'm going to play at where they play the Sony Ericsson at and if I get lucky I may play center court in the stadium and the draw is so long!! heres the ink to the draw.

please.
I played my first designated even in Los Angeles and there were about 850 kids in the whole thing.
I wish you good luck, and the biggest thing to remember is to keep your eyes on winning the first match.
Don't let your mind wander to the possible second round competitor, just keep your eyes on winning your first one.
Just play your game and take it slow.
Most juniors who play their first match are so nervous they don't give themselves time to hit the ball.
Just keep it slow and remember you have all day.
Just think of calming thoughts, and don't rush yourself.

Most of all go there with the expectation that win or lose, you're going to have fun.

Champions don't just want to have fun, they want to have fun winning.
Lol, yes it's motivational to have fun, but more so if you win.
you should be good as long as you dont play a 6 grader.

I lost... didn't even past first round, I played the number 3 seed, he had a big serve and lots of topspin on his forehand, he kicked my ass.

being nervous and confident screws everything up.

maybe next time, I lost pretty badly like you on my first time. The second time I won two matches even though I felt like I played the same both times.

A kick in one's butt can mean a step forward. Keep faith, good things will happen if you work hard enough punk. :)

Just don't worry about it the next time you play someone higher than you. At least you tried right?
