I Believe The Tour 90 Was Custom Tailored To The Specifications Of Pete During The Near End Of His Career.
Anyone Want To Comment On This........................

Which one do you call yellow tour 90. That one with which Federer played recently before n-Code ? Or you are talking about PS Original ?

i think it was made for pete from the extra heavy weight (12.8oz) to the conservative black paint job. not until pete retired and fed took over did they lighten the racquet and paint it swiss colors

lol yes, thats very true. if the original version of the tour 90 was made for sampras i doubt if he would have used it. although he did say somethigna bout wishing to win the french with a larger head racquet . .

remember the wilson ROK . if you read the preamble on TW's homepage they said it was designed for federer ' but he went to the "90" who knows really. They also made a boast about the guy who was responsible for the ROK like ity was nickname. you see how they lie and mis lead. They tour 90 was the brainchild of the company now gone in less than 2 yrs.

big ted's pic really is the tour 90, not a ps 85 painted over. the pws sections arent rectangular like the 85. was sampras really ready to change? or is that a publicity pic. i cant beleive he was going to give up on his 85's.

The pic contributed by bid ted proves sampras was DEFINITELY playing with a tour 90. If he did not retire, This would be his newest issued racquet.

Young Pete, Pete retired in 2002. N-code appeared very recently, so that Tour 90 was manufactured somewhen in the beginning - middle of 2004. Isn't ?

Do you mean that Tour 90 which was in production has exactly the same specifications Pete needed and demanded ?

Sampras has played at least one exhibition match lately. We just have to find someone who attended and noticed what racquet he was using.

Sampras played his last match in 2002. He retired in 2003. Those pictures of Sampras at UCLA with the Tour 90 were taken at the end of 2002 or early 2003 before the Tour 90 hit retail in spring 2003. Those pictures have been posted here 100 times. Just go to www.samprasfanz.com (http://www.samprasfanz.com) to see a few more pictures.

Do you mean that Tour 90 with yellow finish inside was manufactured early 2003? Or there was another Tour 90 also? I'm asking because it seems to me that Fed played before yellow with some other racquet. Isn't ? He recently changed To n-Code, but he played with yellow also not from 2003, he started with that yellow somewhen in 2004. Isn't ?

MAN TO MAKE IT EASY FOR YOU THERE IS ONLY ONE TOUR 90. IT HAS A YELLOW INNTER HOOP. THE FIRST GENERATION SAYS DOUBLE BRAID AND DID NOT HAVE THAT BIG WILSON LOGO ON THE SIDE.

FED WAS PROBABLY USING A HPS 6.1 OR 6.0 OR SOMETHING OF THAT NATURE OR MAYBE EVEN A PAINTJOB TO REFLECT A HPS....AFTER THAT HE SWITCHED TO A TOUR 90 PAINTJOB AND THEN AN NCODE.

The Asian version of the Tour 90 has some really good writing on it. I think it says "St. Vincent Process". I am going to get one or two the next time I go there.

There's pictures of Federer playing with the retail Tour 90 with the shorter neck, wider throat, etc., before switching to the 6.0 90.

it wasnt definately 2003
cuz a local sporting goods store (who knew nothing about tennis) sold the matched pairs with only a single price tag on the set. i bought them all and sold them =) only kept one for myself.
