I heard that you need to get a mandatory racquet for high school. Is there any national requirements for a racquet? Or are they different by state? (I live in Illinois.) Do any of you high school players have "required racquets?" And if you do know a page with all the rules, please post it or better yet, tell me if a Prince Triple Threat Scream is a legal racquet.

Thanks.

Erm. They're some racket requirements for PROFESSIONAL tennis, but I believe that any racket you see on TW makes the cut for the requirements.

TT scream is fine as far as I know. never really heard of required racquets though. Just dont go out there with a sponge bob or dora racquet.

Who ever told you that there is a required racket for high school 0.0 You can play tennis with a walmart racket. All it takes is skills

I don't know the specific rule (if one even exists), but I'm certain the scream will be fine. If you just bought it you'll probably want to replace the strings that came on it as prestrung racquets can feel pretty boardy. Last time I saw a prestrung scream in a local sports authority, it had gold PSGD in it which is probably fine for that racquet but it's a good idea to put some new stuff in there. The tension midpoint is a good place to start.

They mean you just have to use a tennis racquet. Any is fine. What they mean is don't go out there if a badminton racquet.

why does he make so many stupid threads. another thread he made was " a racquet for lefties." does this mean that I need a racquet for asian people? because I think my racquet was made for French people :(. Oh, I'd also like a racquet preferably for black-haired people.
