So I was at my tennis park and there were 2 guys playing. Headband guy, as we will call him, tried to lob it deep from his own side but it gets over the net with the ball being about 4 feet in the air. Hat guy overhanded the ball with either major power or some crazy spin or both, because he hit the ball (without the racquet going over the net, so he hit the ball legally) and it hits headband guy's side of the net.
Yes, you read right. He overhanded the ball into the other side of the net. Hat guy says that it hit headband's side of the net, so he should get the point. But headband guy said that Hat hit the net, so he doesn't get the point regardless of which side it hit. In the end, they redid the point and I didn't see the ending.
So who should have won the point?
