Okay, so basically I have a big game.
My forehand and serve are my weapons, and my backhand is solid.
I don't know what it is but sometimes I find myself in rallies moving the ball around too much, rather then finding a big opening I find alot of smaller ones to hit into and I just don't finish out the point and don't give myself a good margain for error. For example: I would like to trap somebody on their backhand side and then hit the ball for a winner to their forehand, if it comes back it will be an easy put away.
I would like to find something to focus on during rallies rather than just hitting to open spaces and getting sloppy.
Should I try to like hit a bunch crosscourt and trap my opponent on one side and wait for the short ball.
I need some help on developing a stronger shot placement routine rather than hitting the ball all over the place, and having good days and bad days.
I'd like something that I can do well over and over again to my opponents.
I hit the ball all over the place sometimes, and I really do have great strokes I just need to be smarter with where I need to place them.
Any Suggestions please?

I'm not sure what you're asking for, but from what i understand you want a basic, consistent game plan that revolves around a big serve and forehand.

Firstly, if you can hit the ball heavy enough, then you can be able to punish weaker strokes and get a short reply. This way of "grinding" is safer (more margin) and it does not take too much thinking.

Most importantly, you don't want a gameplan that is inflexible. If you have big strokes (I.E. Serve/Forehand) you can often force a weak reply from the first or second shot. Then you have options of punishing an approach shot away to their backhand (or forehand depending on how open the court is), and slicing it short (xcourt OR dtl, works especially well with extreme grips and 2hb w/ limited reach). With some knowledge, you can develop a consistent attacking game that pressures your opponent. You won't have to hit outright winners, because it will pressure your opponent to hit "bigger" and make errors in the process.

Defensively, you just have to be patient and use your opponent's pace to hit heavy topspin drive balls deep into the court. When you see an opportunity to step in a little then you can change from defense to potentially offense or neutral.
