13 Year Old Steals Dad's Credit Card to Buy Hookers

A 13 year old from Texas who stole his Dad's credit card and ordered two hookers from an escort agency, has today been convicted of fraud and given a three year community order.

Ralph Hardy, a 13 year old from Newark, Texas confessed to ordering an extra credit card from his father's existing credit card company, and took his friends on a $30,000 spending spree, culminating in playing "Halo" on an Xbox with a couple of hookers(1) in a Texas motel.

The credit card company involved said it was regular practice to send extra credit cards out as long as all security questions are answered.

The escort girls who were released without charge, told the arresting officers something was up when the kids said they would rather play Xbox than get down to business.

Police said they were alerted to the motel by a concerned delivery clerk, whom after delivering supplies of Dr Pepper, Fritos and Oreos had been asked by the kids where they could score some chicks and were willing to pay(2). They explained they had just made a big score at a "World of Warcraft" tournament and wanted to get some relaxation. On noting the boys age the delivery clerk informed the authorities.

When police arrived at the motel they found $3,000 in cash, numerous electronic gadgets, an Xbox video console with numerous games(3), and the two local escort girls.

Ralph had reportedly told police that his father wouldn't mind, as it was his birthday last week and he had forgot to get him a present. The father, a lawyer said he had been too busy, but would take him on a surprise trip to Disneyland instead. (4)

Looks like he's going to Disney next week. If that was my dad you would have read at the bottom that he killed me after I was released from the authorities.

That kid will be living a life of crime for the rest of his life. I think just punishment would be to throw him in a mental asylum for a mandatory 5 years to see if his antisocial personality disorder diminishes.

But really, 13 years old doing that. I wonder how thier parents reacted. Personally, I would beg the police to keep me in custody, as my parents would kill me the moment I get out.

I had a friend who used to take money from his parents and do crazy stuff when we were around that age. At least we got it out of our systems.

I am 13 and I think he's an idiot. You better shape up, young man.Asked why he ordered two escorts, Ralph said he thought it was the thing to do when you win a "World of Warcraft" tournament. They told the suspicious working girls they were people of restricted growth working with a traveling circus, and as State law does not allow those with disabilities to be discriminated against they had no right to refuse them.

[Since the advent of written language, no better paragraph has been written. Ever. The Bible is pedantic compared to this paragraph. You have hookers, warcraft, midgets and a travelling circus, followed by a legal argument. GREATEST PARAGRAPH EVER.]

The $1,000 a night girls sensing something up played "Halo" on the Xbox with the kids, instead of selling their sexual services. Ralph's ambition is to one day become a politician.

[A lot of people might argue that Ralph's dream has been ruined. Not so, I'm already ready to vote for Ralph now based entirely on his fiscal discipline. Look at how much money this kid saved over Elliot Spitzer.]I wonder why the credit card company didn't call the dad when suspicious purchasing pattern arose. Mine does whenever I spend $1000 or more at a time.

This is an interesting case highlighting exampes of rampant incompetency on behalf of certain delivery clerks and callgirls in Texas. In clerk’s case, he has paying customers with $3,000 cash remaining inside location of delivery. They are willing to pay for things and aks him for help, yet instead of helping them and making some money he rats them out to the police.

Same with callgirls – they got kids with $3,000 cash in the room asking to play videogames with them. Astonishingly, their reaction – “something is up”. The Texas department of prositution needs to consider regulatory steps obviously needed in order to maintain a higher level of professionalism in the industry. When a girl prefers servicing a group of 60yo truck drivers instead of playing xbox with kids, there is clearly a lack of government oversight.

Its a great story, too bad it isn't true:

However police from the county where the alleged incident was supposedly took place say the story doesn't stack up.

Newark county police spokeperson Amy Cromer said, "As far as we know, this story is a hoax. There have not been any arrests here, and we're not aware of any convictions like that in this county."

Maybe we should have a government program to provide topless Halo partners to adolescents so they won't have to steal dad's credit card to buy them.

They are just being 13 Y.o adolescents. It's really Microsoft, and Visa's fault.

Microsoft should realize what kids are doing with their games. I think we need a congressional hearing on the matter. Visa should police every use of a card so this can be prevented.

The kid and his dad are simple a product of society. The government and the corporations are fully at fault in this matter.
