I've been playing tennis in the summer for quite a while now like 4 hours a day. When i first started i felt my shots were getting alot better. but now after like 3 weeks of tennis 6 days a week i think im getting WORSE

Could be fatigue, take a few days off and then go out and hit again.

When you are hitting that often, are you going out each time with a purpose (i.e. something specific you want to accomplish with your strokes each day). If not, give it a try and see if it helps. If so, you could be making subtle changes to your game that you are unaware of because of the frequency of play. Personally, I find that 3-4x a week is my max for improvement, over and above can sometimes bring a wax/wane effect in confidence with my strokes and bring my game down. I'd take a week off and go back at it, it's good to get away from the game now and again both mentally and physically IMO.

go light a few days, your body will recover and youll probably come back stronger

The direction for improvement isn't always up.

It's up and down, although if you keep playing, the trend will be up in the long term.

a slump, everyone goes through that faze, u can't always be getting better. u gotta lose to know how to win.
