Alot of juniors these days are starting to care more about the top juniors around them rather than their own progression. You have to have the determination to be the best and you may want to get as good as the top players but you just have to improve one step at a time.
I have noticed myself being distracted by other players on another court that are having a really good match rather than the one I am in. I'm just saying that alot of juniors are trying to look too good rather than doing what is smart. Play the percentages in tournaments, and go for your shots when your confident. Please don't play it dumb and try to think you are suddenly going to wow your opponent, but if that does happen then great, but just don't expect it everyday.
Pump yourself up and think about your opportunites and what you can do to create them. Tennis is hard, and it's a sport of determination, grinding all the way through, and staying focused each and every point. You see women like Serena beating her sister by a hair, she only won that match in straight sets because of her determination. So go out there and play strong, don't let things get out of control early, and use a game based on your weapons. Stay consistent early and let em' rip when the match is going your way.
Too many matches, especially in the juniors are lost because of being not focused on every point. STAY FOCUSED, AND STAY STRONG. =]
