Assume you mean "Titus" not "Tidus". Kid's a 5th grader. Best to reserve judgement until he's older. As has been bandied about many times, kids who are "unbelievable" at that age, often aren't when older. Hopefully this kid will be one of the ones who is.
In the meantime, I'm sure Brad B. can chime in, 'cause Deit and Titus both came in 2nd place at Little Mo in their respective age groups in 2006. Deiton won in 2007 in the 11 & under when Titus came in 3rd place in the 9 and unders.

Yeah I've played Titus before. He played way up in the 16s and I met him in the 3rd round. I took him out pretty routinely 6-4 6-3 He cheats like crazy.

Cheating - that's the bane of unsupervized junior tennis. You never know whether those results are genuine. sorry for the cynicizm but experience has taught me to think that way.

every kid complains about cheating but the reality is that probably 80 percent of the time the want to believe the ball was in so bad that they sike themselves out to believe the other player is cheating.

titus is one of the many on this road "will see",, didn't get to see him play much but deiton warmed him up for one of his matches. he trys hard he wants to win time will tell.

I'm not complaining about it I'm just stating the facts. I dealt with him the same way I do with other cheaters.
After I think he made a bad call before on a serve, I hit a ball square on the sideline for a clean winner which he calls out.
Me: What?!
Him: That ball was out.
Me: Are you sure?
Him: Yeah I'm sure.
Me: Can you point to where it hit.
Him: (Points an inch wide of the sideline)
Me: Whatever, it's your call, but that ball landed right on the sideline (shakes head).
This normally embarrasses the hell out of the opponent especially when they're young or there are a lot of people watching.
He didn't cheat again until he was down in the second set but I was controlling the match so much that I didn't need to cheat him back or get a linesman.
