ok i need an estimation here.

give me the time it takes for you to break:
normal synthetic
durable synthetic
full poly
half poly/half synthetic
any of the above with string savers

thanks in advancee!

Normal Synthetic - Babolat Conquest - 1 month
Durable Synthetic - PSGD - 1.5 months
Full poly - Full SPPP-Pure - 2 months
Hybrid - SPPP x Conquest - 1.5 months
Natural Gut - Full VS Team - 1 month

Adding stringsavers? I've done it a few times with my SPPP x Conquest hybrid, but didnt really help much, added maybe half a week to the lifespan, but that's it.

string savers can add atleast 50% more durability to a string.
Normal synthetic gut- 35 hours
Durable synthetic gut- i dont know
Full poly- never, i'd probably cut them out before htey break
half poly/half synthetic gut- never, I'd probably cut them out before they break.

Man you guys are lucky. I break strings in two seconds.

Syntehtic gut - 3 hours.
Durable synthetic gut - Same, probably 30 minutes more.
Full poly - 8 hours.
Poly and synthetic gut - 6 hours.

Strings savers will probably increase durability by 30%-50%

You can get answers all over the place with a question like that.
Everyones play style is different.
I hit a fairly flat shot, therefore my strings last a long time, no matter the type of string.(vs touch 16g. lasted close to 130 hours for me, frayed early on but really lasted)
Others here on this board seems like they break theirs soon after looking at them.
It would be hard to give an estimation for the question, as peoples style varies, and so does their string breakage.

tahts why im asking for RELATIVE durability, so i can gauge it

normal synthetic - 2 hours
durable synthetic - about the same...bit more.
full poly - 5ish hours
half poly/half synthetic about the same as full poly
any of the above with string savers - only used on multi...adds about 1 hour

Also remember, even if you hit flat, most players usually slice too, so that also breaks strings faster.

I'll use a relative value scale.

Assume normal syngut is 1.0.-w/stringsavers 1.2
durable syngut is 1.2-w/stringsavers 1.4
full poly is 3.0-w/stringsavers 3.5
Poly/syngut hybrid is 3.5-w/stringsavers 3.5

Just my opinion.

do full poly or half poly half synthetic last longer?

actually, I think that polys would eventually saw into the syn. gut, so string savers would help poly/syn the most.

normal synthetic- PSGD 5 hours
durable synthetic- X-1 6 hours
full poly- never break them but cut them out regardless after a week
half poly/half synthetic-syn mains 8 hours ish matrix hybrid

any of the above with string savers Vs Gut lasted for a long time surprisingly i used Babolat's Teflon SS in my opinion string savers are only useful on gut since they don't go dead nearly as fast as syn guts

wait wait wait. you take 1 1/2 months to break duraflex, but only two to break poly? are you sure?

i break duraflex 16 in about 10 hours of play, and i have never even broken polyester before..
