View Full Version : Anyone else find Tournagrip II too tacky?

I've been comparing Supergrap and TournaGrip II for the past 2 weeks on 2 racquets and I love the tacky-ness of the TG2 when swinging. However, I find a lot of the time I have trouble finding the right bevel when switching from Continental to Semi-western with the TG2. It's so sticky that it makes spinning the handle within my palm cumbersome. Perhaps I need to adopt a different technique for finding the right bevel if I want to continue using the TG2?

Has any other TG2 faithfuls find this to be a problem at first?

Play with the spongier side. It's not tacky, but I love how it feels.

I am not a big fan of tournagrip 2 for the same reason mentioned above, it is so tacky that I can not quickly adjust my grip for various shots. Plus it is miserabley hard on top of leather! Supergrap is a far superor product.
