New member here...

I just posted a request for more info on Osgood Schlatter on the Health & Fitness section. But seems like there is more activitiy and is applicable to the Junior League forum.

If you have experience with training and managing a competitive junior player thru OS, I'd really like to hear from you to help me out. Please check out the Health & Fitness thread and give me some tips. appreciate it.

Ton's of info on the web. Bottom line: rest is best. Unfortunately the people most likely to have O.S. are the people least likely to rest it due to their competitiveness.

I had it bad during basketball. When you finish your growth spurt it won't bother you anymore, but until then get one of those bands that puts pressure on the tendon and wear it while you play.
