THis is to the players that play some nationals. What is your favorite particular national open, super national, or regional tournament.

surprisingly he didnt whine too much....he did whine that i was 2 yrs older and 2 feet taller and there was nothing he could do, but he kinda accepted his loss.....i heard he had a reputation for whining, but it wasnt too bad in our match.

Well maybe he's finally growing up. I believe he's now a So-Cal kid. Rumor has it he got a deal at Weil.

ya i think hes a weil kid now.....his coach from weil was being bad during the match talking while i was serving, but thats customary for weil coaches. i don't know how much of a deal he got at weil because he wouldnt exactly be one of the top players there, but he might have gotten a partial scholarship there.

KC congrats on the backdraw... I used to hate seeing those Weil coaches when their kid plays, they alway come around and clap and make all kinds of noise and they somehow end up leaning at the back fence and who knows what goes on then...but now I don't care because their kids don't really win anymore(only a couple girls).... just a natural order of things...

thanks for the congrats.....ya weil coaches dont have the best reputations and lots of them dont have much experience either......weil is a pretty crazy place too....their motto should be "what happens at weil, stays at weil"

they wanted him to bunk with a young man we did not know and wouldnt alow him to stay in our room at bedtime so we opted out ,, he was gonna be part of everything else except the sleeping arrangments. He's to valuable to us!

I recently played my first level three and lost in main round quarters and conso semis. The guys I lost to got 2nd and 5th. I really loved the level 3. It was awesome. I really want to go to zonals or even nats/supernats at some point.

Every boy playing tournament tennis...I hope that one time you can experience the Kalamazoo tournament... It's like a time honored tradition for American kids who are really into the tennis tournament scene... It's been played at the same place for 65 years and the list of past winners and competitors are a long list of great champions, from Laver to Sampras ect.... they do things there that sets them apart from everywhere else.. they try to treat every player like a professional.. first you check in and get a picture I.D. badge, just like the pro tournaments and you have show them the badge when entering the main site location and when you check in for your matches.... all of the matches get an chair umpire and they bring out name plates of your name and your opponent's name a to put it up on the scorekeeper...if you get to play at the main site(Stowe Stadium)they announce your name and the city you're from over the loud speaker to tell you to report to the court for you match... if you are lucky enough to play on the 3 center courts, they provide ballkids to do your matches... and the 3 center courts have a radar gun to record the speed of your serves...
if you are thinking about playing college tennis, there are always tons of college coaches out there scouting for their next recru!t ..

you all just have to experience it yourself to know,,, so work your butt off so you can make it happen... and see you there next year....

No idea. Probably very low, maybe like, 900 something.

Edit-Looked online, i'm 1039 in 12s. LOL. I have only played one level 3 and otherwise all local tournaments before this so I'm somewhat happy.

I am...does that affect it??? I'm 247 in the south (very low once again) and 15 in Arkansas (I've stopped focusing on state tournaments as in the long run, besides the big ones, they matter very little. A good state rank is naught compared to a good south rank. Both would be nice. lol)

And thanks region2

So, i think tennis recruiting has more accurate ranking lists than normal, even though they're much less official and not really your ranking.
