I don't know who strings agassi's rackets, but this is definitely a pj as you can see by the blatant shaded "bumps" at the head and throat. Also looks like bb alu power.

Yup thats Agassis real stick the second pic i think is the frame where it has a custom handle mould this metal frame holds it in place. Take a close look on it there is his name on the metal.

Isn't Agassi's stick flat out at the throat, without any 'dip'?

Yeah these are great. I found them when I was searching for racket customization because I am going to get my rackets balanced to be exactly the same. I wanted to see what kind of machinery they use. I guess head just makes the racket and everything else is done on the "aftermarket" for agassi.

those arent aggassis racquets. the head is way to small and oval saped. aggassi s is bigger and rounder.

Rackets play tricks on us sometimes especially when there not in the hand of a user. Nothing to compare it too also when they are photographed at funny angles you can get tricked into its size.

Most of the Head Pro's that 'use' liquidmetal frames have the painted ribs. Just look at Safin's, Kuerten's or Schuettler's LM Prestige rqts. Even on some of the lower tour players (128+) have pj'd LM Prestiges. I did a few at Roehampton last year.

If you go to the website (www.**********.com), you'll see where there is a forum getting started. Might end up being a good one!

Those are Prestiges they dont have ribs they are making Andres look like the LM Radical which does have ribs.

No probs man would be interesting too find out if there are anymore pros who have this type of paint job. But now i think the days are numbered as the Flexpoint is coming out.

The LM prestige DEFINITELY has ribs. They are just not as large as on the radical.

Agassi's actual racquet is neither a MidPlus nor an OS, like off-the-shelf LM Radicals are. It is custom made and the head size is somewhere in between, around 103 sq. in.

is that what his donnay was, it would make sense sense he used to play with the pog os which was like that

At the 2003 US Open during USA's coverage, John McEnroe reported that he directly asked Agassi if the LM Rad was new or just a paint job. He quoted Agassi as saying that it was new, was an ounce lighter and 3 sq in smaller headsize than his previous stick. Given that Agassi switched from the POG he'd grown up with, constantly tinkers with his srtings (all gut, gut/kevalar, to gut/poly to all poly) why is it so inconceivable that he will play a custom version of the flexpoint?

Err no Metzler... because he's used the same stick for the past x years... as anyone who has watched him can testify... he's certainly not changed the head size!

you guys are both right. AA did switch to a 104' and slightly lighter racquet for a few months back around the 03' open but shortly thereafter went back to his usual stick.
