Trying to find out what string I was using

Hi all.
I was playing with an old racket that had been strung up with a black string that had really good durability, but I don't know what the string was because there was nothing written on it (guess it wore off before I got the racket). Does anyone know of any other black synthetic gut strings with polyesqe durability besides Gamma Marathon?

if it's on an ancient racquet the strings might not exist anymore. if you are really set out to find a match then you should either post some pictures or go consult a local stringer. Ask them what type, guage, material etc what the strings are to further research the strings
