I play tennis everyday for 2+ hours, except on tuesdays and friday's where i play 3+ hours. My body is always sore and aching, especially my knees, ankle and elbow. I take an advil before i sleep, and it doesn't help much, is there a better way?
thanks for any help

Drink Lots of milk, especially in the few hours before bed. I do this and I wake up like nothing ever happened. (I have tested what happens when I don't, and i wake up extremely sore)

Just normal skim milk. I have 1-2 large glasses before bed every night. Has lots of Protein and Vitamin C, which your body uses to repair and strengthen your muscles and bones at night. Might be why i never seem to injure myself.

warm up before, cool down afterwards, ice/heat for any sore areas, and STRETCH as often during the day as you can.

Take a REST day. Playing every day will result in an injury. Even the pros know and do this!

advil is an anti-inflammatory - it is not per se bad, but it can cause problems with your stomach, etc. so like any other anti-inflammatory has its side effects.

your body can only take so much of a beating before it starts breaking down. the pain you are feeling is your body telling you to give it a break. no food or drink or stretching combination can make up for the stress you are putting your body under. they can help... but only to a certain degree. you should probably take a day off in the middle of the week to let your body recover (maybe a thursday). good luck!
