well i just tried out cyberflash and forten sweet 17 in a hybrid.

i tried it on 53| 56 due to recommendations. but now im wondering how people can play with that. it feels the tension is way to low. im use to playing pro hurricane tour full bed at 58. and using cyberflash and forten at 53/56 threw off my game. all my shots felt like they had no control, and they kept going out.

so is this because the tension is too low and im not use to it? or is this just the way the strings are?

do you think it would fix the problem if i strung cyberflash and sweet 17 at like 58|60?

I use the same combo: sweet 17 and CF 17 and I love it! Try going higher and see what happens. new string setups usually need some tinkering to get right.

If you use a full bed of PHT at 58lbs then it was ill advised to drop that low in a hybrid. You have to remember that string tension is a personal preference and what work for someone else may not for you.

I use this setup in my MicroGel Prestige Pro's. VERY nice indeed.

I string it at 54-56 on the mains, and 58-60 on the crosses. Depends on the weather, indoor/outdoor, how I'm feeling, what I'm looking for etc... but in that range!

Just experiement around with it each time you restring to find your ideal setup tension.
