What is your playing style? Do you like to go for winners and hit the ball as hard as you can or do you focus more on kepping the ball in play consistently?

What's with all the questions you have?! You could at least help out some of the players here on TT then ask more questions. Even though Albert Einstein did say "Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning." Then again, that doesn't mean you have to ask questions about everything you want to know about us.

Help out around the forums. Give players some tips and advice...

Anyways, back on topic... I don't have a playing style but I keep a constant forehand pace.

I have stop going for clean winners and just try to hit hard to side to side when I get a mediocre ball. My goal is to force an error or get a short ball. This usually fails when you play a retriever......because my net game rivals that of Roddick....really it does. :)

I am asking these questions because I don't know which playing style is the best. So I want to know how other people play for me to do the same and learn. I am a NTRP 3.0 beginner, just take it easy on me.

The best "style" is the one that is most comfortable for you. You may (or may not) have taken a look at the "style" sticky thread. It can be usefull to get a quick understanding of the most basic playing styles in the game.

3.0 NTRP is waaaayyyy above the "beginner" level....
If you're a 3.0 NTRP level, you should know what style fits you most comfortably at this point and are probably working to improve your level...

I would classify myself as a crappy pusher =/..pretty much just get the balls back..and when I see a decent chance I'll go for the winner.

I like to use my epic shank forehand moonballs with massive topspin. If I follow it into net it's even funnier. :)

Right now I'm more of a technicall player, but I'm begining to go all around, seeing as how my net game has improved alot.
And hey whats with all these people getting mad over questions? There's nothing wrong with them.

Speaking of questions, what the heck do you mean by "technical" player?

Asking questions about our NTRP and our playing styles won't really help you understand the meaning of the game. Going out there and playing the game, practicing what you want to get better at, will help you more at the game. Just go out there, hit with some friends and slowly get your form together. It'll take some time, but when you can't understand what to do, then you should ask for some tips from us. Other then that, just go out and have fun playing the game.

Self-rated?

As for this thread, my game is nothing special. I shovel short balls into the net, and miss easy volleys. :D
