That crap is as old as magnets themselves. People have been claiming the benefits of magnet therapy for centuries. It's as much a crock now as it was back then.

People also have tried to sell magnets as a treatment to soften water in pipe. They say the magnet realigns ions in the water molecule and this makes the water feel softer. That is such BS. The water is hard is because of the high mineral content that's in the water. You can't magnetize and realign these minerals away. They still come out of your faucet.

I bought one when for cheap when i was on holiday mainly because i liked the colours (green/black) . I felt none of the things it says it does on the back of the packet. Nonetheless i still wear it because it feels strange without it on, plus i have a white strip across my wrist where it didn't tan after many an hour on court over the summer!! Oh and i only take it off when i'm in the shower but i did leave it on once and it was fine.

In my opinion for the people who claim it works.. i think it must be more than anything, a placebo effect.

If its anything like the Phiton necklaces and wristbands, it just looks cool.

Yes, the claims are the same as Phiten. I do have a very cool Phiten that was given to me as a gift -- Hanshin Tigers motif all the way around. Its only value, however, is sentimental.

Whether or not magnets actually work, I've seen a number of golf pros wearing them in tournaments on tv. For the record, these are unsponsored players.
