For me it was a full job of Luxilon Ace. I broke it in 2 months. I've never broken any other poly before.

According to the 2008 string survey that would be Luzilon Big Banger ALU Power 125 with a durability rating of 7.21. Rated just below Babolat Pro Hurricane 17 with a durability rating of 7.27. Which BTW is rated below Techifibre NRG2 SPL 18 with a durability rating of 7.31 and Wilson Sensation 17 rated at 7.34.

The Oxford dictionary entry for durable is "hard wearing" from the latin durare meaning to last. Well it wasn't hard wearing and it didn't last so ergo not durable. Don't try to lecture me on semantics!

SPPP is prone to shearing both whilst stringing and during play. Never had any problems with BA and prefered it's feel over SPPP anyway.

i've been playing with SPPP 17 for about 8-9 hours and so far there are barely any signs of wear or tension loss... i generally break syngut 17 in about 8 hours, so it's holding up pretty well.

last night and today I played another 5+ hours on SPPP, I think it's been about 15 hours now. Still looking good, though it lost some tension over the last few hours. Too much power now, meh.
