For those who string your own rackets, when do you restring them. Couple hours before tournament or practice or the day before?

does this question apply to home stringers? I prefer to string the day before I have a hitting session, if I can help it. this would have my string's tension settle in for the 24 hours of tension loss.

Since I hit relatively flat, old school hitter, and use all nat. gut, I usually restring when the string breaks, and it lasts me a long time, as I am not much of a string breaker.

I like to string the day before as well, tried a few hours before and it is very tight.

Whenever my cross string breaks. Usually every two weeks per racket. If I have a tourney though, I like tostring ALL of my rackets the night before.

Whenever I break my strings..
I'm far too lazy to get my strings restrung before matches. ><

I've strung my racquet 10min. before a match since I was very busy that day.

i like to have a fresh set of string for a match, so i'll string one up the day before. otherwise, i string up a fresh one when i notice the tension loss

i do it when i feel like with what i feel like, i tend to let it break but i have no issue cutting it out since all it cost me is string cost
