Hey guys, I want to learn how to feed balls to my younger brother so he can start to play but I'm not sure what grip to use. I've tried the continental grip when we're both at the service lines or closer and that seems to be the best... but what about baseline ball feeding? should I use the eastern forehand so I can feed a straight shot?

Sounds like you're not so comfortable with volleys. But during net to baseline feeds, I encourage you to just use continental and tap it like a volley to him-- maybe this will be practice for you too. When he gets better use your normal forehand to feed him baseline to baseline and then start to rally!

I do fine at volleys but was just wondering if continental would be the perfect grip to feed balls.

Use your normal grip.
The grip is not so important as what you do with it.

Experiment until you get something that really works - I'd try continental and eastern forehand first.
If you're working with a bucket and your brother is a real beginner, you can also feed to him by standing on his side of the court maybe a step or two in toward the net from the service line. With your back to the net, you can bounce balls underhand and for beginners or even more advanced players, this technique can provide very consistent feeds. If you're doing any teaching/coaching, this style of feeding is cool because you're closer to the hitter and it's really easy to both see what they're doing and give them guidance.
