In general, the smaller the head size, the heavier the frame. You won't be able to find tennis racquets that have a 90 square inch head with a weight around 11 oz. I do have a few racquets that I can suggest that range from 95-100 square inch, are standard length and all have a string pattern of 16X19, which are the same specs as your Tour 90. These racquets are the following, Prince Speedport Black, Wilson K Factor Kpro Open, Yonex RDS 002, Babolat Pure Drive Standard Cortex and the Prince 03 Speedport White. The only problem with these racquets is the price. They are all over $140. The only tennis racquets that we sell that are 11oz that are between a 95-100 square inch are the Dunlop Maxply McEnroe and the Volkl Tour 9 V-Engine. Good luck.

The Speedport Black and White are both around $199. I've played with both. Didn't like either. Too much uncontrollable power. Nice soft feel...but if you need to know where your ball is going to land when you swing...look elsewhere. IMO. There's been alot of topics posted here about the Black. Do a search.

If you want to lighten up, I'm not sure you need to go all the way down to 11 oz. or less considering that you've used the tour 90. Isn't that frame a hefty beast? The Dunlop AG 100 might be an option to check into - haven't tried it myself, but the gang here seems to like it a bunch.

its ok if its goes over 11 oz a little but im trying to lighten up my racket so i can get more racket head speed i use to be able to break 95 no i serve about 70 - 80 with the ps90
i love the stick its just that it will be more easier for me to play with a lighter stick cuz im an all court player and the weight brings me down when i go from high to low volleys it slows me downn :(

butt yeah i can prolly go 140 or so but 200 for a racket is too much...

i was thinking if a dumlop mulfil or w.e. its called 200 would work?

sounds like the aerogel 100 is best for your game, still a mid but mugh lighter then most

If you want a light mid just get a vantage
you can make it as light as you want and still have a 90 in. head

that's true.

maybe consider something that's a 95 instead?

The Aerogel 100 would be almost perfect. 90 s.i. headsize, just over 11 oz but a very small swingweight, so very easy to hit with and a price tag of about 149 usd. Not bad, I'd say. This racquet has also received good reviews from ex Tour 90 and PS 6.0 85 users.

Regarding the Volkl Tour 9 V-Engine mentioned above, I purchased a pair of the 18x20 model in July and have been generally pleased with them. They replaced mid-sized, 12+ ounce older racquets. They do play well, and I was able to get the power down by using a poly string at 57lbs. The power level with synthetic guts was just too high, and the only one that worked well was Gosen JC, which only comes in 16 and didn't provide enough spin. I am sticking with 17 or 18 guage strings - not a problem because of the string pattern as far as wear is concerned.

It has been a simple switch, and I am finally beginning to hit all of my strokes soundly with it. I have no real complaints. I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions.
