Sale prices starting to show up for the Microgel Extreme and Extreme Pro - just a price drop or is this racquet being discontinued? Anybody know?

I hate how all these great frames get discontinued so quickly. I noticed a sizable price drop on the Fischer M Pros as well (from 189.99 to 159.99). I wonder if they plan on discontinuing these as well.

everybody is having a go at some tech that will give the string some ability to move. it all started with the Prince's O3's

hopefully the frictionless tech makes the extreme pro more arm friendly like the cortex

I've seen the microgel's price dropped on some places but today in TW it's about $20 more expensive than a week ago!!

I don't see much of a change except for the new silicone caps. That will be my chance to see if I am buying more of the old extreme or new ones.

How I have understood it is that the extreme line is the only one changing this year. The other MG racquets will stay as they are in Head's line. The string spacing on the Extreme Pro (i believe) is also going to be different than the current version. That and the other things already stated are the changes they are making.
