Your friend really likes hitting moonballs. You should get a new hitting partner for your YT clips because those moonballs aren't the best for showcasing your skills. I'd say you're a lot better than your buddy.

man ur strokes look pretty good, but wtf is with ur serve... i mean im no expert on serves.. but wtf, weirdest motion, to improve your serve youd need to fix your technique, i mean i used to serve like that about 5 years ago.. and since then my serve has improved tenfold...

what kind of grip do you use on your serve?

i think you have a solid game, with the exception of your net game. volleying is actually one of the hardest shots to do right, mostly because we are all taught to hit groundstrokes first so we automatically want to bring our racket back behind us. don't take the racket back as far, never farther back then where you can still see the frame. also, try not to break the wrist. breaking the wrist results usually in a miss, and if not, a weak volley that has tons of slice so it just sits up for your opponent. if you can develop a good net game, you will be a very solid player.

Where in Cali do you live?
Do you play high school tennis also?
Your forehand looks good. Backhand seems alright.
Just remember that in junior level, who ever makes the least mistakes always wins.

Just curious, what is your NTPR?
And trust me on the less mistakes part bro. You wouldn't want to be going for big winners from baseline. Set up your point and win it as easy as possible.
I know its your warm up but you need to work on that slice a bit more.

Wait till BB sees that footwork. you gotta work much harder with purpose, especially on the backhand side. On volleys you just wait on the ball instead of stepping in and cutting of the shot. If that is how you drill, it is what you will do on break point down.

FH is not too shabby and I like how you seem aggressive with the power/spin in the rallys, but not trying to thread the needle into the deepest corners.

If you actually are interested in knowing what people think of your game, post vid of matchplay, not random rallying that you don't give a damn about.

Your volleys need a lot of work. Take the racquet back with your body, not with your arm and you will be much more consistent.

Here we go again with the edited clips. Put a raw video on, or a video that is edited slightly. (No picking up balls, etc)

the serve is unorthadox and the volleys need work. You need to step into the volleys and not take your racket back.

On your serve, there is no explosion forward, and only slight explosion up, and on some, you seem to shoot backwards slightly. Fix the volleys also. BTW, 16 and only 5'5", I'm 15 and 6'3"!

You're a big guy, Zach. You should get into mma.

i thought you were pretty good. Serve and volleys need work. You have to use your body weight to get any pop on that serve. That serve is 95% arm. Throw the ball in front of you, bend your knees, and throw yourself at the ball. As for volleys, dont swing and keep wrist locked. Definitley work on the serve first though.

By the way, I would look past the garbage posts that say to post matchplay and just take in the tips people are giving you. You want help on strokes and you posted a vid. Good job. Listen to the people that are trying to help. These guys should not be telling you what to post and what to not post.

Your groundstrokes are pretty good with exception to your slices.

Your foundation looks good and I think it's the little things that will get you better. Timing, balance, more extension.
As mentioned before serve and volleys need work. Timing is just off on volleys, you need those feet moving, warm up or not.
On serve, you're losing a lot of power. There's a disconnect from your upper and lower body and you're not transferring all your weight into the ball.
