Not sure if there is much interest in this on here but thought I'd post it. The ITF has published the tournament schedule for 2009 for all age groups from 35years old and upwards.

The tournaments take place all over the world practically every week of the year. Worth checking out if you enjoy combining tennis with travel.

Thanks for posting.

Did you know also that you can look at tenniseurope and look up previous year's draws and results for the Veteran's tournaments? Although I guess what happened previously is no indication of how many people will show up in the current year, it can be useful.

Hi - yes I've been using that for previous results and upcoming fact sheets. You're right - it's proved very useful.

The gray beard banner is depressing. What were they thinking?

Thanks Moz.

I'm glad I'm not trying to play tournaments in SA! You think you might play the one available to you?

I could have sworn they had 2 or 3 in 2008 - the first one starting early in the year. To make matters worse, all the Arica tournaments are up-north, so for rankings points ZA players may as well go and play in Europe. :)

I really have not made up my mind yet, but I will play a couple of smaller local tournaments before it to see how my arm-health holds up. Well that is the idea - the reality is that elbow-wise I can only serve for a set and no longer at this point in time. In a perfect world? Hell yeah, I'm in :)

That many of the players in the age group do have, and don't hide their gray hair.
