Did you keep any of last year's resolutions ?

in no particular order:
-get fit
-balance my life
-find a job

tennisfreak15347

make the HS varsity team, stabilize my school grades(currently very inconsistent... last year, 95.0, this year, 98.0), and somehow keep a tan throughout the winter and spring (white as a ghost right now)

Get my spanish to an A- at least

Play number 2 or 3 instead of four

Finish my goal of getting a six pack. Started last year, but exams, school, etc. took too much of my time. Hopefully this year I'll be able to get it done.

I didn't do last year's resolutions, I choose not to put any on my list.

New Years Resolutions

1. Get a Job
2. Make the College Tennis Team
(#4 or #5 Spot, not 6, that's an acheiveable goal. Played #5 and #6 and we were pretty even except for my consistency on serve.)
3. Upgrade my 1hander, make it even more consistent than I have lately. (I had problem with it, but last 2-3 months I have seen some improvement. Before 1/10 shots were decent now it's like 2-3/10. I still have ways to go, but I'm happy with my progress so far.)
4. Lose at least 20Lbs. (I think that's what I'm overweight right now, according to height and age...that stuff.)
4. Get a girlfriend

1. Get a job (hopefully as a stringer)
2. Do well in school
3. Work on getting a better serve. It blows right now (IMO of course :D)
4. Make the varsity tennis team
5. Upgrade my stringing machine
6. Get back into working out. School takes up a lot of time.

My New Year's resolution:

1. To grow my business even through the tough economic times (the #'s are showing it :) albeit small growth)

2. When running with my dogs every morning, to keep running through the 2.5 miles instead of stopping 3/4 of the way and walking the rest

3. Get another BMW (avatar is the current one) possibly a late model E60 M5 by the end of summer.

4. Ditch the current girls that I'm dating as they're costing me money and aren't relationship material.

5. Be a better tennis coach to the kids I currently coach.

6. Get more involved with church.

I'm not too worried about gas prices as my office is downstairs at home. :) I put more miles on my running shoes than I do my cars during the week, as long as I drive local.

Too bad I just let go my 97 E36 M3 a couple months ago for a decent price, with low miles and quite a few upgrades. If I need to sell a car I might as well post it on here too.

Just warning you, I have never owned a more expensive car to maintain, brakes are over $1200, you can not rotate tires since they are staggered, and every e36 gets a radiator/coolant problem when you hit 90k miles. I loved mine to death, but unless you do all of your own maintenance you will spend more to keep it on the road than you are in car payments. But man does that car handle like a dream!

mmm... maybe you are thinking of a E46 m3 perhaps?
I have an m roadster which uses the same parts as the e36 m3 ... i got my brakes done for $800 in parts including uuc slotted rotors, hawk hps pads, and ss lines for both f/r
tires are extremely cheap @ 17"s, a set of kumho mx's will only set you back maybe $600~

i think i wouldnt mind getting a e46 but it'd require more money and maintenance

LOL it has been so long since I owned my M3, I had kumho's on mine, but I live in the ******* so snow is a bit of a problem. I ended up with a set of pirrelli pzero neros, they are amazing all season tires! I ended up buying an IS 250 AWD for the snow when it came out. When I get to work tomorrow I will post some pics of my car, it was pretty slick, I had a black grill, front m badge, and all glass headlight covers. I am probably going for an 04 or 05 e46 m3 in a couple of years and just leave it parked for summer driving, it should cut down on the cost of ownership!

Not really. I lost 20lbs in 2 months and am doing the last 10lbs in 1 month. So that will be 30lbs in 3 months.

Diet is the most important factor. If you can change your eating habits and maintain a decent workout regiment, you will drop the weight.

And 40lbs in 12 months is roughly losing 3.5lbs a month.
This is really easy to do.

Ok, fellow TT'ers. I could use some help here. Jotted down some resolutions:

1. I want to gain weight. Put on at least 30 pounds.

2. Stop exercising. Waste of time.

3. Read less.

4. Watch more TV. I've been missing some good stuff.

5. Procrastinate more.

6. Drink.

Drink some more.

7. Take up a new habit: smoking??.

8. Spend at least $1000 a month on Ladies of the Night.

9. Spend more time at work.

10. Take a vacation to someplace important: like to see the largest ball of twine.

11. Stop bringing lunch from home: I should eat out more.

12. Quit giving money & time to charity.

14. Start being superstitious.

15. Have my car lowered and invest in a really loud stereo system. Get the windows tinted. Buy some fur for the dash.

16. Speak in a monotone voice and only use monosyllabic words.

17. Only wear jeans that are 2 sizes too small and use a chain or rope for a belt.

Only wear white T-shirts with those fashionable yellow stains under the arms.

18. Personal goal: bring back disco.

(Ok, if you found that funny, it was copied from a joke that came in).

The video card is a Nvidia GeForce 8600GT and has an HDMI slot out. Only problem is that it doesn't send audio through the HDMI so more cables are required for me.
If you are interested in upgrading your video card I think some newer ones, in ATI at lest, can send audio through their HDMI slots.

EDIT: Oh, and I have a 22" connected to the RGB from the same card with "Dualview" enabled so I get another desktop.
