Its bloody hard to be a fan of LL. Hewitt. I respect the guy for his achievements and tenacity, as small as he is he got to dominate based pure willpower. Respect. However, he is such a shmuck on the court, there is no grace about him, he is 100% pure stinkaroo, a shmuck among shmucks, a *****.

Yeah he might play some good tennis but the day he shows one ounce of maturity and sportsmanship on the court is the day he'll earn my respect.

ComeOn ! You cant be serious

Yeah I'm serious. Whats so hard getting your head around my opinion of having no respect for a player because of their on-court demeanor.

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this attitude towards him.

He beats Roddick so I can forgive his foibles.;-)

Alright, they are not foibles but big character issues displayed in public;-)

I *was* a Hewitt fan. I liked his never-say-die attitude. I guess I simply over-looked his lack of class ... until this year. He lost me, as a fan, at the AO.

I won't be visiting that site.

Well AAAA that has to be the all time best summary I've ever heard concerning Hewitts antics....... "character issues"

Lleyton likes to talk loudly and informally on court and is prone to much unusual gesticulation.

I actually like Hewitt.

And I think the folks at the Original Lleyton Hewitt website do a great job. And they have a great messageboard, which is appropriately called Lleytonland.:

But I will check out your new site.

I wish you the best with it. :-)

AAAA , one could say that LOL. Maybe Safin would post on the board. Before the AO final He said that despite Hewitt's on-court behaviour, he respected him. and in his more than gracious all-Hewitt positive speech he showed that maturity triumphed over idiocy. And then there's Hewitt's bride to be & his family. Gee, there are may be more posters than one would have initially thought.

So much respect for Lleyton. The hardest working tennis player alive.
