View Full Version : Does anyone not play a paint job?

Alright, I know that Djokovic doesn't play with the kblade tour,it is merely a paint job; but what about the William's sisters, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga,Paul-Henri Mathieu, Dmitry Tursunov. They all play some form of the kfactor blade line up. Are any of these frames legit? Does anyone not play a paint job? I guess thats the real question.

Federer. (There is some controversy around this one...) Any of the Prince O-port racquet players.

tsonga, uses the wilson prostaff 6.5 and its a paint job
and i think for federer. its probably one of his old rackets paint jobbed. i mean the nsix-one tour look identical structure wise. i mean u never know

The william sisters have no reason to have a paint job.

Their racquets are huge.
And wilson gives them whatever they want.


So...
I don't see why.

some of them do, like davydenko or ferrero. but sharapova uses a real frame (it's just a different paintjob) and many of the lower level players use customized o3 frames, meaning you could theoretically have their setup with the right amount of customization

federer uses the K90, and i think he even uses stock, or very close to it. nadal uses a PJ of the APDC, but you can still get his setup if you can find the older APD in the right gripsize.

but no, not many use the actual frames, and i doubt ANYONE plays straight from stock.

Read somewhere way back when about Tsonga using a prostaff
cause he it had something on it that the prostaff line had. Don't remember exactly though..

Tsonga uses a Hyper Pro Staff 6.5 with a KBlade 98 paintjob. You can tell because his racquet has the PWS on it.
