Try Richland Tennis Center. They are probably about to start a new season of Monday night league. It's mostly 3.0-3.5.

I'm up north of 1709 off N Beach street. Too far for me to go for a regular match.

I would takes Vik's advice and give RTC a try. Monday night is 3.5-4.5 and they have 3.0-3.5 on Tue and Wed. There are very few 4.5 players on Mondays.

Yah...I finally played in the upper bracket this season, and got to play some new blood, so I have now seen the whole spread pretty much. I would estimate there are around 12 legit 4.0's, and two/three 4.5's, and the rest low to mid 3.5. The true 4.5's come and go - but usually at least two each session.

I have subbed and played the Tues or Thursday (3.0-3.5?) league many years ago, and there is a definite huge gap between the Monday night crowd and the other guys. I would say if someone is a real honest 3.0 to low 3.5 - check out the T/Th leagues first, then move up if all is well.

Oh, and a side note...I won my part of the draw last session, and recieved a 10.00 discount on my entry fee for the league. I know this is thin, but I think I can now officially call myself a pro? :mrgreen:

I'm near TCU. I'm a 4.5 female. Don't know how mens and womens ratings compare. Sure can't find enough folks to play singles w/though at the level that will help my game.

Hey, that's great. I know a guy who lives over around that area, and just got bumped up to 4.5 and is looking for a new team. He is not a powerhouse, but he is very fit and an awesome retriever. If you guys need another member, email me, and I can get you a name. Which team are you on?

Wow, I never realized how many people are on these boards from Fort Worth... I'm trying to figure out who all I know. I got cknobman and I think I know who Vik is...

But yeah, I usually play out of RTC and on Thursday night they have a good drill at 7pm. You can usually meet a lot of people that like to hit there. It's more 3.5-4.0 but if you're a good 3.0 then no one will say anything.

I play out of ATC on wednesday nights and I'm free tuesdays and fridays. I'm up to play just about anywhere in the greater fort worth area.

I'll be in Fort Worth for 3 weeks and looking for hitting partners 3-4x per week. I'm staying at the American Inn on Calmont Ave. I used to play college and 5.0-5.5 leagues, but after a back injury and packing on 50lb's I can play strong 4.0, I think. I used to train/play 5-7x per week. I haven't hit a ball in 2 years, so will be a bit rusty. Anyway, if anybody will hit with me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Played at TCU tonight with 4.0?? guys. It was fun. If anybody would like to hit Sunday or one evening next week, let me know. My cardio was poor, but I was striking the ball pretty well, I think I can hang with 4.0-4.5.

Nope... back home now. I really like Ft. Worth... TCU TC is awesome. I would have liked to hit some more. I have found two 4.0 hitting partners in Mobile. My strokes are back, but my footwork needs a lot of work.

Okay......if you're someone I already know I'll laugh. But I also live near TCU and am a 4.5 female. I'm playing singles for two Dallas USTA teams since they have summer leagues but am always up to play.
