How critical is it to have my Becker 11 strung according to the company's stringing instructions? I showed my stringer the instructions and he strung it a different way. I have two Beckers and cannot tell the difference when hitting. Thanks for your input. mba

^ How did the stringer string it differently? Different tie off points or something more radical?

Becker stringing instructions call for four tie off points. The second stringer used only two.

That just means he used 1 piece vs 2. If done right you won't notice a difference. A lot of the time if you aren't using a hybrid stringers will do a 1 piece job unless you specifically ask for something else.

Becker 11 325 gr.

that frame should be strung in two pieces so the x's dont get strung from the bottom up. if strung in 1 piece, some sort of ATW pattern would need to be used. dont know if your stringer strung using ATW or not. In anycase, that is a very strong well made frame and it wouldnt hurt stringing it once or twice from bottom up, but it sure wouldnt be good to make a practice out of it

If I were you, I would start looking for a different stringer. You asked him to sting a racquet according to your instructions, he did something else instead...

Of course, you can always learn to string your own racquet and get an affordable stringing machine...

I would have to agree here - it is fine making a mistake, but not when you had the specs, so start hunting around for a new stringer. In addition most stringers would realize something is wrong when they are almost "forced to" string from the bottom-up. (Assuming that is what he/she/it did.)

Were the tie off points at the top or bottom of the frame?

Two tie off points are at the bottom on one side. The third tie off point is on the bottom of the opposite side. The fourth is at the top to the side.
The instructions are as follows: Tie on cross string at 4H. Tie off main string at 8H. Tie off cross string at 11T.

The USRSA lists tie off mains at 9T , not 8H as you have listed, as matter fact, I would not know how one would tie off main at 8H as you have listed, for a 2 piece stringing.

The URL I listed shows the actual stringing instructions. My first racquet was strung according to those specs.

The URL I listed shows the actual stringing instructions. My first racquet was strung according to those specs.

If you really look at the document that your link goes to you will see that the instructions are not correct. The drawing of the racquet has the mains ending at the throat not at the head. It also show the cross to start at 6H but the instructions say 4H. It shows the end of cross tie off as 9T but instructions say 11T.

I am not familiar with this racquet, but I do know that that document you have linked to is a croc. I would ask jim e if he would be so kind as to tell you the USRSA pattern.

Those instructions are from Becker. TW strung my racquet according to those specs. How do I get in touch with jim e?

I see that those instructions are on the Becker website but in the URL it says user_upload. I think (not sure) that those instructions are uploaded to becker website from somone who uses or strings their racquets.
However it happened, if you study the picture that is provided and then read the instructions they provide, you can see that it is not correct. The mains in the picture end in the throat. I don't see how TW or anyone else could string the racquet pictured in 2 pieces and make the mains end in the head.
As for contacting jim e I really don't know how but he posted in this thread about 3 or 4 posts earlier. Maybe he will read this and be so kind as to reply.

The descriptions of tie off locations on the stringing diagram are wrong, but it appears the illustration shows the knots/tie offs in the correct places.
