I've been using Wilson Sensation 16 @ 62lbs in a Speedport Tour w/String Hole (traditional) inserts.

Typically the string has held up fine, but on 2 occasions, I've had them strung only to see it break quickly down by the bottom of the racquet, today while receiving a super slow rolling 2nd serve.

The shop is out of Sensation so it makes my choice to try something else easy, looking for input. I don't hit with a lot of topspin and find the 16 typically a good gauge for me

What string selection do you have to pick from?

I dropped it off and am going with a Babolat Conquest in a 16 and will see how it goes. Left a note that if they had other ideas to give me a call. If this doesn't work I'll try something like BBO

Potentially a good string, but few on the board have been able to use it long enough to find out. And also, it's rather stiff, when compared even to Sensation, a plenty-stiff multifilament.

PSGD felt much slicker and stiffer than Sensation to me. I know the RSI numbers are not that far apart (WS: 197 vs. PSGD: 212).

And the PSGD seemed "hard" and boardy with little feel.

Try Babolat Attraction, Wilson Reaction, or Technifibre NRG2

Try German Guice, it's a twisted Multi-Mono with lots of power and spin, but string it a little higher to control it.
