Ok, have not been here in months. New house, new job and all. Missed out on tennis. I see Marcos has shaved his head, Novak has a new stick and Marat got his butt kicked. Waiting on TTC to arrive here prior to the AO and I'm without any knowledge of tennis in the last few months...

Care to share and fill me in? Summarize the last few months for me?

Thanks in advance....:)

Andy Murray is the GOAT now. Save yourself, become one of his fanbois.

ATP hired a new CEO, but no one cares.

I think that's it.

You know I actually played tennis tonight and some good old boys are predicting Andy to win the AO...are they far off?

Murray is not the GOAT but he's definitely one of the top favorites at AO.

Sharapova and (maybe) Tsonga are out of the Aussie open.

i said maybe. If its official, there are not going to be maybes :p

Someone today posted a BBC article calling into question and raising doubt Tsonga would be ready for the AO.

Don't think it's official yet, but it might well be soon. It's a flare up of an old injury, something to do with a disc in his back.

Murray isn't the GOAT, but we have 2 new candidates: Chuck Norris (with his kevlar power strings and massive scare ability, his opponents forfeit out of fear for their rackets. But when Norris shanks.....) and the wall, because no matter how hard you try, you cannot beat the wall.

No one in their right mind ever misses my humor. Your shameless flattery won't get you anywhere.

Okay, maybe first base, but only if you entice me with a hot mocha first.

You forgot Troy Polamalu. He makes every play you know.

Davydenko's hairline is still receding, ended the season with a pretty string effort to get the YEC Finals. But has a foot injury he sustained in India a few weeks ago and will be out of the Aussie Open this year. :D

Baghdatis got a hair cut, Safin got 2 black eyes, Federer still has no coach. That's about it.

Roger still has Mono. Nadal still picks his back, Safin is still nuts and Ana Ivanovic got proposed (not by Verdasco)

Wall is easy to beat - just keep lobbing over it. :)

So is Davydenko. I know, he is so quiet you forget him.

Nice. I'm a Browns fan, and I can't stand the Steelers, but I can agree that Polamalu's the man. That ridiculous interception earlier this year is almost enough to warrant GOAT talk. I'm willing to overlook the fact that he plays a different sport.

You also forgot Ray Lewis. He's the only one who can be the wall because he can run through it. ;)

Polamalu's the man, this coming form a Lions and Rams fan. I like to cheer for the underdog if you hadn't noticed.
